Why we created RealtySlices ?

We founded RealtySlices to help people invest in real estate easily by streamlining the entire investing-managing-selling process with transparency and trust. With our platform, they can start small, start early and (re)invest often to build significant long term wealth.

On one hand, we found employees like us who were working in full time jobs thinking that we have to wait until we amass a lot of wealth or have a lot of free time to manage the investment process, before we can invest in real estate. However, as we started investing and developing real estate more than 10 years ago, we realized that we could have started much sooner and amassed much larger wealth if we knew we could start early, and someone showed us how we could do passive and fractional real estate investing.

On the other hand, we found lots of real estate sponsors/developers like us and high quality projects have to go through a complex web of institutions and individuals and spend a lot of money to find investors who would fund such projects. They have been looking for a faster, simpler and cheaper way to raise funds for their projects in return for producing higher returns with solid transparency and engagement directly with investors.

We have played the role of investors and sponsors of real estate over the past 10 years and thought that it would be best to bring the above two constituencies – investors and sponsors – together in a streamlined marketplace with simplicity, affordability and trust as the foundational pillars. Being career software people, we put our skills to work and created this platform to help people start investing in real estate early and often with access to high quality deal flow, and help sponsors raise funds easily and cheaply so that they can deliver better investment results to their investors.
